Note: The presentation will be preceded by brief general meeting and formal election of new officers.

Please join November's general meeting at the UW Theodor Jacogson Observator where we will hear from Matt Dahl and Stephanie Anderson on the recent developments in astrophotography.  Some of the things we will consider:

As a beginner, where is a good place to start?

Comparing Seestar versus larger refractor vs reflector.

Filters....what and when.

Live stack vs manual stacking and use of tools, e.g. Pixinsight.

Seestar new mosiac mode.

Equipment that can easily travel.  e.g. what to take to the next eclipse.

    The December general meeting will be our Solstice holiday party! We plan to have yummy treats for everyone to eat, warm drinks, and the SAS Youth group will have some presentations. The event will be at the Farm in Woodinville. We are also planning to have a sale of items from the equipment library that we no longer need and that are taking up valuble space. Proceeds will go to the SAS Youth group.
