New Members Orientation
Overview
New member orientation meetings are held two or three times a year to welcome new and prospective members to the club. This is an opportunity to meet other society members, to learn about the basics of visual observing and selecting equipment, and to find out more about the activities of the Seattle Astronomical Society.
No signup is necessary. If you have questions, please email Alan Spurgeon at membership@seattleastro.org

The meeting location is the Theodor Jacobsen Observatory on the University of Washington campus. (Currently on Zoom.)

We talk about using the website, facebook page, and youtube channel so you can get the most out of what the club has to offer. This will take place alongside the August general meeting. A meal will be served in the large hall at 7pm and then at 8pm we will move over to the smaller hall for the orientation.
